Beautiful, modern office. Dr Carpenter was meticulous as usual and Ashley exceptional. Would have liked nitrous oxide. Jenn went the extra mile scheduling me and Susan answered all my questions at check out. They definitely aim to please. (But missing that nitrous.)

The first visit was efficient. Dr Caven found why a capped tooth originally put in by a dentist about 7 years ago fell out a couple of times recently in Jacksonville. A different dentist glued it back in for $250 each time even though the second time was 2 months after the first time - apparently he did not warranty his work. Dr Caven found a cavity at the back of the tooth at the tooth/gum line. The first dentist should have seen this when he glued the cap back on twice. Dr.Caven was really great! He went over everything that was needed and also made suggestions on how to improve the condition of my teeth. We also discussed implants and how they would help in the long run vs dentures. I will see nobody else except Dr. Caven.He is the best.

My experience on my initial visit to Dr Caven's office as a new patient was very positive. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Dr. Caven was thorough in his exam and takes advantage of helpful technology such as digital x-rays, a camera and viewing screen, and a tool for looking for oral cancer. He was a good listener, was willing to take the time to discuss problems and explained things clearly.

For the last 10 years I have received excellent treatment and I really appreciate it that Dr Caven always manages to fit me into his busy schedule , since I have limited time available during our travels and - and seem to be the patient with the most mileage between his office and my home - I live in Guernsey/Channel Islands/Great Britain - but visit the US twice a year and arrange in advance - my appointments with Dr Caven's office - but - unfortunately - sometimes - there is treatment necessary for an unexpected emergency ... read more

I recently moved to the Jacksonville area, and decided to try Dr. Caven's office based on the reviews I saw. I must say, I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Dr. Caven and his staff are phenomenal. Customer service was superb, and they were not rushing me to get out the door. Dr. Caven, also, took time to answer my questions and to assist me with setting goals for what will be best for my dental health. KUDOS TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE! You got it right!
