Ok, soooo glad we did this! The caves were stunningly beautiful, and the tour was so informative....our guide Abe was the best-so passionate about the history of the caves. Could have spent hours and hours there!�

Beautiful grounds, wonderful views of the caves, excellent tour, and fun for the family and adults! I love this place so much, I returned years later for a second tour. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, we were surprised to learn she was a Jr in high school. (we thought perhaps she was a college grad)
If you've never been to an actual cave before, you need to load up the car/truck/ horse drawn carriage and come to Cave of the Mounds! The staff is very friendly as well as knowledgeable. The caves.....well "amazing" is the first word that comes to mind! Stare into the face of geological history!
