We had a fire in our building that put us out on the street for the night in the freezing rain. We found a hotel but our kitties couldn't stay there. Cat doc employee opened up after hours to take our fur buds (x2) for the night! Thanks sooo much! You really got us out of a jam! Robert and Casey would thank you too if they understood. BTW, please don't take this to mean they can always do this; i do not know their policies.
We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Marxy (who actually used to live at the Cat Doctor) and I have to say that everyone on the staff was so respectful and even deeply sorrowful in that difficult time. We take our other guys there for regular checkups. They may be [a bit] more expensive than other places but their expertise, compassion, and service validate the cost. They care so much about your pets (your family), that you wouldn't want to trust anyone else.
Sure, it takes a trolley ride and a few blocks' walk there and back for my kitty Beaker and me to get to the office, but it is SO worth it. Beaker was incredibly calm and well-behaved the whole time and both Dr. Goin and vet tech Shanna were amazing with her. Shanna even said Beaker was her favorite patient! Never though I'd be looking forward to her next appointment in 6 months. We were both at ease the whole time! A very caring practice. You csn tell by the absolute joy and love they have for every patient that comes through their doors. Their daily pictures of the day's patients brighten my day and make me smile when I need it the most.
Very caring people, I would recommend them to any cat parent. :-)

the care is as good as always. The prices are ridiculously high
I first went to the Cat Doctor 30 years ago! I even come back to them from Jersey now! Love it there!
