PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Proceed with caution in going to this vet or use their service. I had taken my two cats to the vet 6 months ago and was happy with the service I received. One of my cats had a urinary tract infection at the time. The doctor had me switch their diet from dry food to wet food. One of my cats started to loose a little bit of weight and eat less. I thought nothing of it because she was overweight to begin with. I thought the new diet was just healthier for her. Unfortunately, I noticed that my cat wa... read more

Would not recommend - Money hungry and rude Dr. Eigner is a great surgeon, but the compassion at the Cat Doctor is nonexistant. Front office staff, especially the receptionist Chase, is quite rude and uncaring. He/she??? stood behind the counter chatting with other employees about what bar he/she??? had gone to the night before while I sat in the waiting room with my dying cat. I was obviously upset and anxious and when I asked how long it would be, he/she??? rudely said to me "I told you we weren't an emergency clinic. You ... read more

Please beware of this doctors office This is the third time I will write this review which keeps getting deleted. I feel it is important to tell people to beware of this doctors office because of my terrible experience here. My cat had a runny nose and I took her here. The doctor told me she needed dentistry so I agreed. This lead to my cat refusing to eat for days. I took her back to the vet and they kept her for a week and eventually said they would need to put the cat on a feeding tube. This was a healthy cat with sniffle... read more

consider another vet Will not allow cats to be taken home after surgery but do not monitor them for a full 12 hours. No great suprise that my cat was found dead in his cage the next morning. Terrible at keeping up on vacination records.Acted as if the surgery was no big deal. Gave cat a reportedly very controversial pain med that may have contributed to death. Also, still had to pay for surgery which cost several hundred dollars.Vet did cover cremation costs at $200 and prior surgery by owner seemed adequate. Previously trie... read more

THE WORST i just got a letter telling me i should find another vet,the staff does not like my additude.well guess what the feeling is mutual!the front desk staff is rude and the doctors have no respect for the owners of the pets.I took my very sick cat to them a couple years ago and was back and forth so many times and spent so much money and was made to feel like I was guilty for my cat being sick.only to take her to another vet and guess what she has been just fine for over 17 months.yes she need medicine on a daily basis ... read more

Very thorough, very nice but can be pricey A bit of a mixed review. The staff here are really great, but sometimes overreach in terms of what the customer may want. Our cat was found to have a heart murmur by the very and they recomended an echocardiogram. This is probably a 500$ test. We did not feel that open heart surgery was an option for our cat.. so we declined to have this test performed. BTW, Cat is doing well 3 years old PROS: Friendly and thorough CONS:

The best! I realize people need to be concerned about money, but what is really important about The Cat Doctor is that they really care for cats like cats are family members. I would never take my cats anywhere else and I've been taking my cats there for over 20 years.
