The food is always consistently very good. We especially like sitting out on the patio. Their house margaritas are made with real 100% agave tequila not rot gut. They have a great draft Mexican beer selection. One of the things I like about it is you see the same faces in there every time you go. They don't have a lot of staff turnover. Our server Alex always takes excellent care of us. We live in Farragut but we drive over to Rockyhill just eat here.
The atmosphere was awesome ,service very friendly ,the bartender we had yesterday between 3 and 5 has excellent customer service skills,the food was delicious in taste n presentation, our margaritas were yummy .and I definitely recommend this place to everyone. .5*

I used to go here all the time when I lived nearby. It's been 2 years since the last time and I was so glad to know the food is still as good and the service is still great. Not so sure I like the new decor, I kinda miss the kitschy Mexican furnishings of times last. Chimichanga Acapulco is always my fav!
I cannot wait until the Choto location opens. Only in Mexico can you find such gourmet food. Don Gallo offers truly well thought out dishes specially prepared...a cut above the other "gringo" themed restaurants that proliferate the Knoxville area.
If you want great Mexican food and Margaritas's and the feeling your in your own restaurant with friends, Casa Don Gallo is your spot. I love Gaby and Angel! I will be back!!!

This is by far THE BEST Mexican restaurant anywhere. Service and food as well as the drinks are a 5*. This is a home away from home for me. Was just there Saturday night and really enjoyed the whole experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The people there are tops. Gabby and Juan are the best....
