Just Plain Rude I had unpleasant dealings with CM&S many years ago, but decided to give them another try recently when I needed a lawn mower serviced. It is the off season, so the place was empty when I arrived. One would think that a salesperson would greet any potential customer with a pleasant attitude and be working to make a sale. out400bucks After reading the reviews years ago, I can't believe these guys are still in business. Bought a brand new Stihl chainsaw. Used it one weekend and the bar began to smoke. They kept it a week and then said that the housing was melted and it would cost over 400 to fix. I said to check on the warranty. GREAT PLACE/GREAT SERVICE I recently moved to the area and decided to give Cary Mower a chance even after reading some of the reviews. I brought my mower in for an estimate. They did take $30 up front to look at and diagnose the problem with my mower. After quoting me a VERY fair price, I had them go ahead with the work and the $30 was taken off of the final price like they told me. Would recommend them to everyone!!!
I would not do business with these jokers Not only are the employees at the counter rude but the business does not stand behind the waranties of the products they sell. I bought a sthil trimmer from them less than a year ago. I brought the trimmer back to them because it would not idle. I was told that the carburetor needed to be replaced. They told me that Sthil would not cover this under waranty because this could be caused by ethinol in the gas. Felt like I was bothering them. I went in to order a replacement muffler for the riding mower I bought from this place 15 years ago. The store has apparently changed hands since then because I honestly felt like having a customer in the store was bothering them...like they had better things to do than wait on a customer. Went out of their way to help! I recently moved to the area. Had my mower in storage and hadn't noticed that is was damaged by movers. Brought it to Cary Mower and they went out of their way to help me. They wrote a letter to the moving company explaining the damage and gave them their best opinion on the matter. Not many places would care or even bother with a problem like that for someone they didn't know. Would recommend to everyone.
Great Knowledgable service visited to have a Stihl blower repaired that we bought several years ago. Knowledgable, friendly service without a hard push to sell new equipment when the old is repairable. Would recommend to friends and would visit again to buy.
Arrogant counter personal Had 3 poor contacts. Arrogant salesmen that do not know what they are talking about. Are not concerned about the needs of a potential customer. Called and asked for owner and was put on hold until phone company cut off call. Employee did not come back and follow up call. They are not a good representative of a good company (Stihl). Just the opposite of Arvin on Fayetteville Rd., who bend over backwards to satisy a customer.
