Patient of Dr. Owen from 2024–2025. On the positive side, she was kind and respectful in our interactions. However, two scheduled appointments were missed without advance notice, which was disruptive. In August 2025 we were told the clinic would not accept our existing embryos because the lab wasn’t familiar with the freeze protocol used by the creating lab. Dr. Owen is just the kindest, most empathetic doctor I have ever seen in real life. She treated us like real people rather than numbers and went above and beyond to help and support us in a difficult situation. It’s so hard to find medical care that prioritizes and doesn’t treat LGBTQ+ families as an afterthought and Dr. Owen is just the opposite. Dr. Owen is such an amazing person to have on your side during your fertility journey. She makes the effort to get to know you and your personal story. She explains everything in a way that you can really understand without all of the confusing medical terms and makes sure that you understand all of the steps along the way. I cannot recommend her and the CCRM NoVa practice enough!!
