Small, private office. Organized staff. Convenient location. Compassionate, thorough physician. My only reservation is that Dr. Kampe went into retirement for about 6 months and then came back into practice. Someone who might be needing long term care may be concerned about how much longer he will be in practice.
I’ve been a patient for about 15 years, and have received nothing but the very best care. Dr. Kampe is very pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient, but never seems rushed or unwilling to take the necessary time to explain or listen. Wait times are always reasonable and the entire office is equally efficient. He is truly a top tier doctor, who I recommend without reservation.
Dr. Kampe exudes competence and professional standards. He explained what treatments to expect over the coming weeks. He included 2 key members of his staff who covered the essential elements of the testing regime and infusions of Chemotherapy, what the timetable looked like, and who would be assisting. I asked many questions and helpful answers were provided. I came away from the meeting with a strong belief that this expert Doctor and well-qualified team together could give me the best chance at surviving my cancer.
This was my first visit with Dr. Kampe as my previous oncologist retired. Dr. Kampe was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Dr. Kampe is always thorough, concerned, compassionate and knowledgeable. I have been his patient for over 21 years and think he is the best doc around. He listens, formulates a treatment plan with you and is always available to you.
I transferred my care to Dr. Kampe because his Lakeway office was very close to my home. On my initial visit he went over my Lymphoma diagnosis from 3 years ago and my subsequent treatments. He reviewed my current status and walked me through my most recent scans and blood tests. He is very thorough and inspired confidence. I recommend him to anyone needing cancer treatment and care.
Don't hesitate for a moment to have him and his team for your Oncologist!!
Dr. Kampe is the best of the best. Along with his staff and all support members from Texas Oncology. I was diagnosed with Lung cancer, clinical stage IIIB and they were with me all the way.I even wear a Superman Shirt to my follow-up visits. Faith, Texas Oncology, Dr. Kampe never let me down.
Saw Dr without any recommendations. Appointment was apparently not necessary, as bloodwork, etc were not available to Dr for the appointment? Appointment lasted about two minutes.
