Carrabba's Italian Grill was founded in Houston, TX by Johnny Carrabba and Damian Mandola in December of 1986, who set out to create a restaurant experience where people felt like guests in their home. Both Johnny and Damian belong to one of Houston's most successful restaurant families, and many of the recipes on our menu are those of Damian's mother Grace and sister Rose. Damian travels the world in search of the best ingredients and most unique Italian dishes so Carrabba's food tastes authentic and delicious.

This is the worst Carrabba's I've ever been to. We called a week in advance for a large party of 17. They had no additional staff so their 2 waitresses had to wait on the entire restaurant, including our table which didn't see much of them. We waited almost 2 hours for the food to start trickling from the kitchen and most of it arrived cold, even though they staggered out! Service needs improvement, soup needs more meat, sauce in steak like Marsha is so puny, decor needs updating. Overall ok, but not coming back.
Service and food was great. However, when I ordered a macchiato the waiter brought American coffee with foam milk. When I questioned it the waiter answer was "that's what I know of a macchiato".
The service was great, but I was very disappointed that you removed the linguini and clams from your menu. And that you don't offer a vegetable spaghetti alternative? Very sad, ended up just having salad.�����
