Carrabba's Italian Grill was founded in Houston, TX by Johnny Carrabba and Damian Mandola in December of 1986, who set out to create a restaurant experience where people felt like guests in their home. Both Johnny and Damian belong to one of Houston's most successful restaurant families, and many of the recipes on our menu are those of Damian's mother Grace and sister Rose. Damian travels the world in search of the best ingredients and most unique Italian dishes so Carrabba's food tastes authentic and delicious.

With both my wife and I having food allergies, it's often difficult to eat out and have a staff who is willing to go above and beyond to create a memorable dining experience and Carrabba's of Gainesville did exactly that. Making our 35th wedding anniversary dinner memorable, the server and kitchen manager went above and beyond.. Thanks
Horrible service.... really, really bad. The food is fine, but the people working at this one are awful.
Same great food, only problem was that kitchen was a little backed up, but manager came and apologized. But we had great service and server was very attentive.
The food was delicious, I definitely will come back.

wonderful calamari, house saled with there own parmesean house dressing, chicken Alfredo, and lasagna.
