The billing department of Dr Barrette overcharged my copay by 30 dollars which and then told me they could not reimburse me until they process the claim. The insurance company stated that the correct copay is easily accessible to the billing department and should not have been over billed at the time of service. The billing department was completely unwilling to correct the issue until they get their reimbursement from the insurance company. Word to the wise. Make sure you know your copay.
She was absolutely terrible to me and seemed bothered that she was planning on going on vacation so my "hopeless" issue would have to wait until she got back. She just looked at my foot without performing an X-ray and said that amputation was the only option. Ended up going to a surgeon in Boston that fixed my foot. If I stuck with her I'd have one foot amputated. She wasn't even empathic or caring just rude and dismissive.
Horrible woman! very Dismissive. Treated me like she was better than everyone. Will Not be returning- Only Decent thing about this office is the Assistant- Amanda. She was very professional and kind. Clearly doesnt belong there!
Dr Barrette was amazing. She performed emergency surgery on my calcaneus fx, my well being was priority. She explained everything thoroughly where I understood what and why. She' s direct and made me comfortable with her decision for the emergency surgery. I would highly recommend her and her team. I never felt nervous once .She is definitely A#1 in my book. A million thank you ' s to her and her team
This is a long time coming. Dr. Barrette performed a triple arthrodeses (sp) on my right ankle a few years ago. Following a long healing possess, rehab, and many braces, I am finally walking with no pain, and no braces. I can actually run a bit,. It feels great to move with no pain, although I do have a few "moments" at times. I truly appreciate all the care and advice she, and her staff, gave me. Sincerely, Frank Steffanides
She is a rude, arrogant, dismissive narcissist! She treats her patients like they are intellectually inferior! She offered me the most absurd recommendations- surgery and told me that it probably wouldn't work anyway! When I wanted to look at alternatives, she was gruff and rude & told me she sensed distaste in the air! Only someone with extreme arrogance would not realiz she herself is distasteful! I would never go back to her! I wouldn't let her operate on me or valet park my car at St Vs!!!
