Dr Barette did my Arthrodesis surgery. She explained everything in detail before I made my decision. Surgery went well, and follow up visits have been great.
I had triple arthrodesis performed in Aug 2019 and am still recovering. I was told it would be a long time before I was totally healed. I feel Dr. Barrett is a thorough, no-nonsense doctor which I appreciate. If you follow her instructions, your recovery will happen. I really like Amanda, her assistant. Both work well together. Worse experience I have ever had dealing with a (Dr)?
Dr. Barrette was very, very rude, and unprofessional. She would not let me speak, putting her hands over her ears, and blabbering so as not to hear me. She texts and takes calls the whole time during my visits. She talked down to me. I refuse to ever go back to her again. I never in my life have ever seen a doctor act like her. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone.
Dr Barrette had preformed ankle surgery on my ankle. After surgery she did not inform my husband how it went. She never came in and so me after surgery. She wanted me to take a high dosage of medicine after the surgery which I did not do. When is came to post op she was very dismissive of my concerns and the pain I was in. I had to get a second opinion from another surgeon at another hospital. I’m glad I did. The surgeon had to fix the mistakes that Dr Barrette had made on my ankle.
Dr Barrette and her entire staff were extremely competent and also, professional, friendly and helpful- the entire experience was exceptional!
Dr Barrette has been absolutely wonderful to me. I suffered 5 breaks in my ankle/foot and also a ruptured membrane which required surgery. I am almost 5 weeks post-op and I can’t say enough about the care I’m receiving. She takes the time to explain everything and answers all my questions patiently. I’ve had to call a couple times in between appts. and Amanda gets right back to me w/ Dr Barrettes reply. I work for a DPM so I knew to call Dr B when this happened. Best ankle surgeon in Worc Co
The billing department of Dr Barrette overcharged my copay by 30 dollars which and then told me they could not reimburse me until they process the claim. The insurance company stated that the correct copay is easily accessible to the billing department and should not have been over billed at the time of service. The billing department was completely unwilling to correct the issue until they get their reimbursement from the insurance company. Word to the wise. Make sure you know your copay.
