I had a great experience with Dr Ackerman, and I would and have recommended her to several people. She is very willing to spend time with each patient, listen, and she has a wonderful bedside manner that you don't see that much today.

Dr. Akerman and her staff were extremely caring. The nurses took care of the medical forms by asking me the answers. Dr. Akerman came in and extended her hand to me which I haven't seen in a long time. I had to have an ingrown toenail removed and she explained every move she was doing to my toe. I would highly recommend Dr. Akerman to anyone that needs a podiatrist.
After suffering with plantar fasciitis for years, I finally went to Dr Ackerman for treatment. What a relief! I'm so happy to be pain free and would definitely recommend this wonderful office and doctor.
My experience was better than expected from the initial visit, through treatments and then surgery. Dr. Akerman and her staff are patient, kind and looked out for my best interest. I would recommend her to anyone having feet issues of any kind.
