Very poor food presentation and quality. Four of us went for dinner and not one of the meals were satisfactory. Very disappointed. My meal consisted of grouper seasonally priced. The price was very very high for the poor quality of fish that I was served not to mention the size of the piece of fish. The veggies were overcooked and soggy. I would not go back to this restaurant.
We held ou Supervisor's Appreciation Luncheon here and it was fabulous! A special Thank You to General Manager, Mark Witeck for making sure everything was perfect from the table, to the food, and of course the the steller service! We can't wait to go back!
This place has really gone downhill this was a place that I loved and frequented many times. I took a friend there for her first time and was disappointed that she did not see what I saw in this restaurant. The whole vibe of the place was that everyone seemed unhappy. There was no one to greet us when we walked in and when someone did acknowledge us standing there it was not a warm welcome but that we had interrupted something. The only thing I liked was the character of the restaurant. Took forever to get each course delivered to the table, including drinks. All of the food was extremely salty, to the point we couldn't even eat the vegetables. We ordered Filet Mignon and it was very tough along with salty..I don't even think they were Filets, they tasted like thick Sirloin Strip steaks. Definitely would not recommend and we are not returning!!
We come here every Sunday,best place in town ,from the $2 dollars martini's to the lunch and dinner special there ain't no better place in Tampa bay to eat and relax for less the. $40 dinner for 2,trust me you will love it
I truly suggest that no one eats at Carne, it took them 4 times to bring my prime rib out correctly. My husband on the third try was correct. I peraonally had to go in and speak to the manager. He didn't have the time to speak with me but the gave me half of. Sorry, personally that's unacceptable. When you run a restaurant you make time for your patrons. So beware, if you come to ybor, stay away from Carne strakhouse! If i could I would give this place a zero!
Very poor service. They advertise $2 martinis until 6:30 pm but don't have enough staff to make and or serve the drinks.
Came in on a Sunday at 6:20. Waited 15 minutes to be seated with only a family of 3 ahead of us. Service was slow and unfriendly. Food was fair at best. We didn't order an appetizer or desert but it still took until just after 8:00 to get out of there. (we were done eating by 7:30) Very disappointed after seeing good reviews.
We loved our dinners tonight!! Special thanks to Bill the mgr, What a guy! Also to Terry, our fabulous waiter. Thanks for a good night!!
