I tried the ground Italian sausage, the bratwurst and the beef jerky. All were excellent! Look forward to trying more.
Every year for Christmas, this is where we get our beef roast, bone in, and it feeds 8 people. This is the only ground beef I really feel comfortable eating, and their bacon ends are basically meat candy. The guys that own the place are super awesome, too. It's a local business that I love to support! I don't totally want to tell you about how good the tenderloin is, because I want it all for myself, but that wouldn't really be fair the the rest of you.
When I BBQ I want the end product to be a good as possible. It all starts with a trip to Carne. Only issue is that I am now spoiled and beef from the grocery store just doesn't cut it anymore. Either Carne or nothing.
I really love what these guys are doing, bringing the old butchery tradition back. It reminds me of when I was a kid and later, my time in Spain. My husband and I have had the opportunity to come in twice and both times they were super friendly and helpful and the product quality was top notch. Traditional-made REAL sausages to die for. You must try them if they have them in. Keep it up, guys!!
Drove down here Christmas Eve I was like 10 min late they were closed I knocked they let me in got some amazing steaks and bacon for Christmas day breakfast!! Amazing staff very helpful!
The new smoked chops are crazy good. Their shop grind is the best ever! So nice to have a real butcher right down the street!
