I have been trying to get a vehicle thru carmax since January first time they sold my first vehicle that I had applied for gave me the run around. and today I got approved got my down payment was told go with my insurance and my proof of income and I called to verify and they said send them over I will take a look at them and then I get a call from a manager that carmax has decided not to do business with me which is sad cause I have everything they requested not sure if it's cause I'm Mexican or what I wasn't mean with any ... read more

Steve, Megan, and Javier at carmax were absolutely awesome. Me and my wife drove 2 hours out of our way to look at a specific vehicle and it was so worth it. The process was a bit frustrating because we had zero phone service to pull up information, metro sucks at this particular location. But, everyone was very patient and everyone had great sense of humors which worked for us because we can be a bit ridiculous. Amazing experience all around and the vehicle we bought is perfect.

My husband and I traded in our traverse in order to get into a car that wasn’t so noisy. We have three boys and I wanted to stay with the crossovers hoping to leave with either a Toyota or Honda. We originally bought the Honda Pilot because it had all the bells and whistles including AWD which we loved. A day or so into it, it started feeling very jerky with each shift. I was in the market to trade in my old 2010 vehicle and get something new. The Sales Rep. Cesar was amazing! He had a trainee Kiana with him and she was super helpful with my 16mo old while I went through the financing. 3 days later I decided I wanted the fully loaded version of the vehicle I purchased. What an easy return process and an amazing program CarMax offers! We dropped by on Sunday to see a car we'd found in stock online. We checked in and were told it would be a few minutes before someone could help us. We wondered around the lot for 45 minutes and no one ever came out. After the first 20 minutes we check back in with the desk and they said it would be a bit longer. After another 20+ minutes we gave up. On Tuesday I called to make an appointment, hoping that would make the trip go more smoothly.
