Most of the nurses are incredibly disrespectful and talk horribly about the patients that can all hear them from their desk area. the doctor will send you away stating you have nothing more than a simple infection or nothing wrong at all when in all actuality you need emergency surgery. if you go in for any sort of mental health help whatsoever you might as well just YouTube how to treat yourself because that will be better help. This hospital has the worst staff. My wife and I went in for an emergency and they kept us here for 5 hours. Told us nothing, brushed us off, and sent us on our way. We went to Evansville for another opinion and my wife ended up having something seriously wrong with her that’s life threatening. Olney couldn’t even detect it, or if they did. They didn’t see it as a big deal! We’ll never know. Nor will we ever go back
RecommendedIn the past year my husband has been to the ER three times and then admitted. All three times and one other after surgery the staff has been great. Caring, prompt and always ready to answer questions and concerns. Three of these four times were during Covid and the care continued to be very good. The nurses were always cheerful, helpful and concerned if there was an issue. I have read all the reviews and it makes me sad that some folks can be so ugly. We recently moved back to Bridgeport and I was honestly terrified to switch my sons doctor to someone I didn't know. Once we got into the office (due to COVID-19 we hadn't seen anyone yet), they got us in quickly after they opened back up at the Carle Bridgeport Clinic. My 1 year old was terrified of the ladies since they had masks on and they worked with him very well. With the whole covid-19 pandemic going on I was concerned since I was having trouble breathing. So I called the emergency room last night and the lady I spoke with said that there was no need for me to be seen even though I was struggling to catch my breath. Then two days before that I called to check about getting a flu swab done which was recommended by my doctor, the lady hung up the phone on me after I asked where to go to have it done but before she hung up on me she rudely said that I go to my regular doctor even thoug... read more
The last thing anyone wants is to land in the ER. I must say they were very busy however the exceptional level of care and concern made me feel like I was the only patient they had. The care is Much appreciated.
it was an amazing experience nobody wants to be in the er especially on Christmas eve and being a 3 year old but you guys made the experience great and were so kind and fast even tho you were full we so much appreciate you all and thank you all again for the gift you gave my baby girl it made her crappy Christmas eve better MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

The worst hospital of all time. I hope a fuel tanker sprays gasoline all over the base of your building and sets in on fire. Worst service ever
