I just had the worst experience there. Totally stressed out now, and I wasn’t even seen, after being there an hour. Was late today, but on time last week, and the same happened BOTH visits. Meanwhile people who came after me were taken back before me. Couldn’t help but notice I was the only patient of color during those times. Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional health care providers. I arrived for a stress test on an unusually hot day in late April. The room was very small and hot, as the air conditioning was not running. I asked the sonographer, Denise, if she’d mind wearing a mask while I was on the treadmill so that I could feel safe removing my mask. She refused, saying she didn’t like wearing a mask. Dr. Weerakoon is an excellent, thoughtful, through cardiologist, with a great bed side manner.
Came in for my 12:40 appointment. Waited to 1:28 after others came in after me and were seen. After inquiring, and speaking to the office manager, it seemed they had an internal issue. It would have been nice to be informed they were experiencing delay issues with my doctor so I could cancel and make another appointment.
