My rescued 6 pound toy poodle, Mr. Harley, has been given the good life due to Dr. Straeter’s excellent care and monitoring of his heart issues. He’s is 16 years and rules the household with his opinions about everything that goes in the house. He’s has no eyes or teeth but yet he bosses our 65 pound yellow lab. I’m very thankful he’s under her care.
I had remote consultations from Ingrid last summer when my 2 year old springer spaniel was at death's door. Ingrid was the the end of the phone for me, night and day while my little one was hospitalised in Ireland. I can't recommend Ingrid's professionalism, knowledge and kindness highly enough.
I was treated so rudely today when I tried to get an appointment after my veterinarian’s referral I am still upset. I was told that it would be a month before my dog could get in for an echocardiogram, and that there was nowhere else I could get this done. Our 13 1/2 yr old cavalier has been a patient for several years Dr Straeter is very caring , explains everything about Bu’s heart and the progression I highly recommend her.
I definitely recommend the staff at Cardiac Evaluations! They were very helpful in diagnosing my Chihuahua mix and were able to refer us to UGA for surgery in a very timely manner. The staff is very kind and compassionate and I am so grateful for their help!
Dr. Straeter-Knowlen and her staff were very kind and thorough. She explained my baby’s condition well and gave us a detailed report. I’m so glad to have some answers and would highly recommend this vet!

They have been awesome with Ginger and have done everything possible to keep her as healthy as a fur baby can be when battling CHF
