I came in for a routine checkup in nephrology two days ago. My doctor took a look at my labs and said that due to a creatine level of 11.4, he needed to admit me. At 8am the following morning, I was in surgery to place the catheter and last night had my first 2 hours of dialysis. I am scheduled for 4 hours today and 4 tomorrow, before they let me go home. Lord knows, I'm a mess, but the people here are top notch.

I just had an emergency surgery for an umbilical hernia. The facility is beautiful and immaculate, the staff is incredible and the patient amenities are outstanding. Each room is equipped with a tv that has internet for web browsing, streams movies, and tv channels. The beds were comfortable, food was very good for hospital food and the privacy and personal care is outstanding.

The employees as well as the higher ups really seem to care about the Veterans, as well as always striving to grow and improve the facility as a whole!

I didnt like it because it was just a bit to much waiting time. I realize its a hospital with multiple services but they wanted me to schedule a MRI for the up coming week but wanted to wait an extra 45 minutes to take it right away. It would have been ok but i had been at the hospital 5 hours since 8am that morning. It was 2pm when they asked. So i decided to request a appointment. I had been at the hospital in the emergency department for 2 hours waiting. I feel it was just to much waiting time. On top of that they couldnt... read more
