If you have to wait for a prescription at the pharmacy and you're not in uniform, best bet is to take a number and come back in no less than an hour. Waited an hour and a half for a prescription of liquid Zyrtec for my son.
I brought my Father in law for an appointment . The Doctor and staff were fantastic. While there I had my glasses adjusted and the screws replaced with locking screws. I was then informed that we are authorized only (1) pair of glasses.
I am always treated like royalty or a 4 star general. I was in the other day for a cortisone shot for my bad knee. The staff, the doctor couldn't be more passionate and helpful. Later after my doctors visit I then went to the pharmacy and got my medication refilled and only had to wait a short time. Once again the pharmacy staff also was as compassionate and helpful. I think that everyone at Captain James A Lovell VA IN North Chicago is awesome. Keep up the great service !
To be honest, I had reservations about having my daughter have major surgery at a military facility. I have been blown away with the kindness, responsiveness, and professionalism of the medical and support staff. Everyone has gone out of their way to make sure that my daughter was well cared for and that even I was comfortable. Much appreciation to everyone here.
I was able to see my PCM, let her know what's going on. She put in for the usual blood work, X-ray and MRI. I was able to get both MRI and X-rays done � same day, I'm a happy man. Blood work done this morning, so all is good. New meds got me feeling a little weird but doing what there suppose to be doing. Rather be here than Jesse Brown.
I didn't expect to be in and out so fast. The staff was very helpful and kind before, during and after my procedure. They helped me relax and feel comfortable.
