Best Tatoos in Portland! – Captain Jacks is fabulous. Everyone there is wonderful but Jerry is the absolute best! He?s done most of my latest work and that of all my friends and family, and we all love him. He?s knowledgeable, friendly and loves his work. My last tattoo was a huge custom back piece. With out knowing me all that well, he managed to draw up something that fit me exactly and I fell in love the minute I saw it. Best piercer ever! – Fara Te is the absolute best piercer. I was told beforehand that she was good, but I didn't realize until I was in that seat just how true that is. If you want to get pierced, Fara Te is the one to do it. Hands down. I live in Phoenix, AZ, but I will fly back to Portland for my next piercing(s) so that I can have her do them as well... that's just how good she is.
WOW I cant wait to go back – my mom took me in toget my belly button pierced and they were the best. fara explained the law to me and why i had to wait. she then let me look at where she was going to do the piercing and explained everything to me and my mom. it was the best experience i have ever had. i wish i had had my ears pierced here. And it didnt hardly hurt at all. i cant wait to go back and have my ear done, but i have to wait until i am 17 my mom said
Fast, sterile and Fantastic Piercings – I took my daughter her to get her navel pierced. NOt only were the very informative about the aftercare, piercings, and the law. The piecer Fara Tae was the absolute best, she was smart, funny and extremely well informed. And the shop was so clean and sterile, single use needles, autoclaves. I would definately use this shop again
Fantastcally clean and incredible value – After looking all over portland for someone to fix an old tatto, i went to this shop and within an hour they had told me what they could do for me and the cost. When they were finished it was the best coverup job i have ever seen. I have returned twice since once for a peircing and once for a new tattoo. THe customer service is great, the shop incredibly clean, and the prices are beyond reasonable. I will definately use this shop again
The tattoo studio in the Portland Metro area – I have been going to Captain Jack's for well over four years now. I would not go anywhere else. I have invested a pretty penny in ink with this incredible shop, and they are one of the most reasonably priced shops in town. I have three "smaller" pieces, two of which are cover-ups of older work and a half-sleeve piece. If you want the best tattoo – I don't know who the person is underneath me but I would have to say that after over 30 times of going to Captain Jacks for peircing's and tattoo's I have never experienced or seen any kind of behavior that they describe. The studio is always busy, proffessional, more sterile than a hospital, the artists are some of the best in the field. Captian Jack's Tattoo Studio – Awfull!!!! I had the worse customer service experience EVER! This shop is very unprofessional, thank goodness I did not allow them to do my first tattoo. I had a scheduled appointment which they blew off for a bigger and better tattoo client. Maybe this is just the way tattoo parlors are, it is disconcerting that they are also a school. Great customer service, great work and painless! – A couple of months ago I was ready for my second tattoo. I had a design that was black and white but I knew I wanted it to be a little more colorful than that. I'd never been to see the folks at Captain Jacks but I gave them a try based on their review on City Search. I can't tell you enough how very, very pleased with the experience I was!
