Our business has always been on the leading edge of dental technology. We use CEREC technology to make same day crowns, intra oral cameras, laser, and digital readiography. We also have 3D radiology to assist in accurate implant placement. Our paratcie has been serving the dental needs of the Capitol Hill community for over 39 years!

I have been a patient at Capitol Hill Dental Group for over five years and consistently have been given excellent care. The office atmosphere is pleasant and the practice is conducted in a highly-professional and efficient manner. Even though the dentist who has given me care over the years is retiring - and I shall miss him - I intend to continue with this Group due to the commitment to excellence and trustworthiness demonstrated.
This Group is flawless. Not only are they supremely gifted dentists, but also they are devoted to the proper care of our teeth & not to their bank accounts. They believe in doing the least invasive work possible while doing everything essential--and perfectly!--to help us keep our teeth safe & sound. And, as people, they are correctly treasured by our Cap Hill neighborhood, which is how I found them--sent by two neighbors!
I had a crown fall off and wanted it reattached before leaving DC on vacation. My normal dentist was too far away for a last-minute appointment but Capital Hill Dental was able to fit me in and Dr. Hodges was wonderful. She understood my situation, worked quickly to solve the problem, and educated me about next steps. I have been a patient for over 25 years and cannot say enough good things about this practice. I moved from the Hill to Chevy Chase, so it is no longer convenient, but worth the extra time it takes to get there. They are up on the latest technology while maintaining a friendly and personal touch with the patients. Efficient (you can actually go during a lunch hour!), friendly, knowledgeable, patient - simply the best!
I came in for a consultation for a cosmetic issue with my front tooth. I came out with the problem fixed! Could not be happier! Everyone was so pleasant! I would highly recommend!!
The office allowed me to make an appointment on very short notice as I was having some tooth pain, even though I was not a patient of the practice at his point. The staff performed the necessary cleaning procedure and quickly identified the problem. The equipment and facilities are very modern and up to date. The staff is friendly, and the care is of the highest standard. I highly recommend this practice.
Dr. Thomson and staff take the time necessary to answer questions and explain procedures. Love the high tech equipment.
The Capitol Hill Dental Group has extraordinarily good dentists. While I normally go to Dr. Norm Bouchard, I have equal confidence with Drs. Thomson, Hodges and Sarah Bouchard. The dental hygienists are also extremely good.
I am retiring from work (Dept of Labor) which is a nice walk from CHDG. However, I will continue to see the wonderful folks there, it is worth the Red Line/Blue Line trip to continue with them. I have been a patient of Dr. Norman for probably 20 years and don't want anyone else working on me! CHDG...please note the new email address below.
