Dr. Welty is a very kind and caring vet. He took care of our last dog Smokey in the last 10 years of her life. He would make housecalls if the owner isn't able to get there. When the time came for us to have Smokey put down, I called and he came to the house to pick her up. I asked him if he wouldn't mind calling us to let us know it was over, around 5:30 that evening he called to let us know. We let the answering machine pick it up.
Thank you to Dr. Welty and all the staff at Capitol Animal Clinic. I have brining my pets since first opened. My fur babies have all had excellent care.
Very caring and compassionate even with the worst news, but super awesome at caring for my bunnies. I'm picky about who I trust, especially with my fur babies! I trust Dr. Welty and crew. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and truly care about my bunnies. I love the phone calls to check in after surgeries and appointments just to make sure everything is still going ok at home and I don't have any questions. The birthday email they sent for Caramel really made my day.

Better communication is needed between vets and staff
The doctors and staff are great. They helped me care for my Siamese cat with kidney disease for 20 years! We now take our two new kittens to the clinic. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cats.
