Last time I took my 9 year old cat here they left him in his carrier for over four hours. There are many other cats running around the vet so it is a stressful environment for any cat. But leaving him in his carrier for that long is never acceptable. Today, took him to get groomed to remove 2 mats and they "only could get one removed" and then gave him back to me. RecommendedCapitol Animal Clinic fits our fur babies in at last minute when an issue arises (has happened at least 5 times in the past year). Doctors call and explain everything. They are very patient and understanding with us and our pets. 5 star!
went today for my cats appointment and they said it wasn't til next Friday when someone told me today I will be looking for a new vet you guys do not know how to communicate and you need to learn. my cat cannot be dropped off he is already scared and I will not have him be biting anyone and he gets put down on someone else's stupidity
New to Lincoln and also new owner of a baby rabbit. As a new bun mom I was anxiously looking for a good vet for rabbits, they can be so hard to find. This place has been amazing to us, the vet and vet techs go above and beyond and are very kind. It’s a big deal to find a place you can trust with your pets and I’m happy to have found it! They make sure my bun is happy and healthy and that’s all I can ask for.
New to town and my dog was not feeling well. contacted the office and they were able to get her in right away. I was impressed by the doctors and the entire staff. will be taking my dog there in the future
EEKIE is cute all curled up, but was very sick here. I was so distressed. Can’t say Thank You enough to the awesome staff and docs at Capitol Animal Clinic for bringing her back to health— here and also earlier on New Years’ Eve @ 5:00 pm. Thank you so much! Now she’s back to her old, sweet self (she’s about 15 yrs old)
They care about your pets. Most vets that we have been to never seemed to really care much about our pets, our relationship with our pets, and our feelings towards not wanting to do certain things right away because of price. We felt like they only saw us as a paycheck. We went to Capital Animal Clinic and immediately felt welcomed and cared for. The nurses and doctor are very hands-on and treat our pets as their own. They are cheaper than other clinics we have been to as well!
Very caring vets and staff. Twice now, they have gone above and beyond what they do to help me and my fur babies. Can't thank them enough! 5 star rating!
