This bank has attempted, for the second and final time, to charge me $20 for a fictitious loan. They claim I have taken money out on the $500 line of credit I have with them. I have never borrowed any money from them and never will. Chevy Chase was a great bank and while Capital One (which swallowed up CC) isn't horrible, they have closed most nearby locations and ATMs and thus removed my incentive to stay with them. I just ended a thirty year relationship with this bank. Capital One took a great local bank, Chevy Chase which had great service, lots of branches and ATMs and ran into the ground. Closing branches, cutting hour at my nearby location of Nicholson Lane that I can't use the Lobby anymore because its only open Monday through Friday 9-3 and forcing me to go a couple of miles up to Flagship making the lobby more crowded. They don't answer their phone, they don't have any evening or Saturday hours, they are closing branches left and right. I'm finding a more friendly bank!!
Awful bank, Capital one Bank needs to be boycotted. I called to try and copies of my statements from five years ago, they told me that I would only get a copy for a charge of $300. Ridiculous. I asked why don't you just have them online, and they said they cannot do that. They just want to make money of of consumers for any and everything. Occupy Capital one, they are a fraud.
Capital one bank gave me a chance at my first credit card about 6 months ago and I luv it,,, I'm using it ,,paying it ,, and trying to build a better credit score, but so far it's been awesome THANK YOU ,,,,James Harper,, Smyrna Delaware
