For over 10 days, I have not been able to get a business matter completed expeditiously with Capital One Bank's services. I have put in at least 40 hours of work with them on this between calls and branch visits. My actual rating for CB1 is less than 1 with this particular matter. I have decided to see if I can get more concrete answers and action by reaching out via FaceBook. What bank do you use that has exceptional customer service? Thanks, V.
Their customer service is a joke and hey all toe the company line as if they never are at fault. Just got off the phone they werent helpful at all their computer system fucked us over BAD set up our due date for the 15th it got changed to the 9th so we have 2 years of late fee's with interest compounded on that, that we shouldnt have to pay on they are a scam. they owe us HUNDREDS of dollars just going back in the one year statements that they have it was 395.00 just in late fee's we werent late on. oh and get this they get ... read more

capital one lies. They will tell you one thing and do another and will tell you its their policy, They take no acccountablity for what they tell customers.
25 minutes on the phone to change a pin.....got to the end and was told I had to call back on another line (another 25 minutes at least). I had to call from my daughter's phone (15 yo) because it was her little account - which is attached to and funded by mine. Unbelievable waste of time.
Apparently, Capital One is willing to lose my business over $2.00. They closed the branch 5 miles from my house. I must now drive 25+ miles to the nearest Capital One ATM. I used the ATM at the WaWa over the July 4th holidays. A $2.00 charge showed up. I called. They refuse to waive that fee and really don't care that I can take my business to PNC, M &T, or BB&T. I'm done with this crappy bank
DO NOT USE THIS BANK. I have been a customer for several years and it has been an absolute nightmare. They have taken money out of my account, unauthorized, twice. They have essentially stolen from me (and no, this was no overdraft fees, in either circumstance). Their customer support staff are worse than useless -- rude, unhelpful, thick-headed, and shaky if you require an answer that makes them go off-script. I have been a high deposit customer since they were Chevy Chase Bank. Today, when I spoke to the Manager of the Spring Valley (DC) Branch , she was not helpful and not willing to check on waiving a bank charge for a wire transfer ( which as ALWAYS been waived due to my long standing relationship). When the transfer was being done (late May), I had to return to the Branch because another employee didn’t know how to ‘do ‘ it. I think it just might be time to start another banking relationship.
