I called customer service and spoke with Tyler a supervisor in customer relations/ resolution today 15 minutes ago. He was not able to fix my issues and so I asked for his supervisor, he told me there was no one else I can speak to. I advised well what is your process of escalation and he told me if I want another sup* to hang up and call back. RecommendedI had a negative experience at my credit union. I called ahead to the Minstrel Way branch in Columbia Md. to explain I would like to open a new account. I was greeted at the door by a gentleman named Adam. He was very informative, explained all the policies, how to use the app, and his personality was upbeat and positive! Thank you Adam for such a pleasant experience ! I look forward to banking with Capital One !!!!!
Helping people? Not at all! Capital One which took over for Cabela’s VISA has done nothing to help me through fraudulent activity with my credit card. They did not protect me when I was suppose to be paid from a company I provided a service for that then bounced all the funds. The company was a scam and Capital One allowed it to happen and has done nothing to help me! Capital One Bank does nothing for their customers! If you have Capital One I would choose another company because they do not do what they say they do!
Capital One is crooked!!! They took my new checking info over the phone and was supposed to change my autopay to the new account. I was told everything was good going forward. WRONG!!! THEY DEBITED THE CLOSED ACCOUNT AND CHARGED A BOAT LOAD OF FEES WHEN PAYMENTS RETURNED. WHEN I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE, I WAS TREATED VERY POORLY AND NOTHING WAS RESOLVED. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AVOID CAPITAL ONE IF YOU WANT TO MAINTAIN A GOOD CREDIT SCORE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LESS THAN TERRIBLE.
JUST opened an account with Capital One the other day because I had to switch banks after my old one screwed me over. Haven't had anything negative happen yet but I've seen a LOT of really really bad reviews! More bad than good. I'm just praying that I don't have to go through the trouble of switching banks AGAIN and that it's not really as bad as these reviews are making it sound.
