The Best Around The people at Candrell are the most honest mechanics I've ever dealt with. After being taken advantage of @ Meineke, I took my car to Candrell who fixed it right for about a third of what Meineke wanted to charge me. Then, after Meineke had worked on my car & didn't replace the screws that hold my splash guard on & I was getting water in my belts & losing power steering, I took it back to Candrell who fixed my splash guard for FREE! Who does that? Highly recommend Candrell for any car repairs or service.
Unreal Took in for oil change. They called me and said my brakes were at 10% and would charge $140 to change them. Next week my coworker did same thing and they told him his brakes were at 10%. I thought this odd, so I bought some pads, removed my tires and pulled off my current pads to find them at about 80%
Overall - a good place. My girlfriend and I have taken our cars here. They found the coolant leak that other places could not and fixed it for me. Prices were average. Oil change prices were lower than other places. Service was good. Tammy who works the front desk is great. They're a little slow on calling when your car is ready, but they were busy each time we've been there, so I'll say that is understandable. Overall, they are a good place. They're exactly what I expect in a shop. Busy, but solid work for a decent price.
Dont go to this place Please people what ever you do dont go to candrell care because I went there for a tune up &one of my lights kept coming on my ford and they charge me 317.00 BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WAS A NEW TRUCK AND THEY COULDNT FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON... So I let them do it because I didnt know any better & I had to get it done fast to get my state sticker for my truck.... So I ask one of my co-workers was that right and he said hell no..... They no how to get over on women NEVER NO MORE
They Will Rip You Off! AVOID! RIP OFF!!! Avoid this place like the plague, unless you like being lied to and ripped off! I donât know who wrote all these great reviews, must be the owner of the place posing as customers! My AC suddenly quit working on 08/11/09. Bad experience! I am from Fort Worth, and I drive down to Dallas once a week for my sons acting lessons, I saw the marques sign that said 9.99 oil change, I was charged more then what the sign said and a week later my change oil light came on! and I had someone check the oil and I was a quart and a half low! I would stand out there and watch them do the change to make sure, and get the right price before the work is done. This place I would never take my suburban to again. Performed unauthorized service and overcharged for it. Do not leave your car here without a written estimate in hand and signing an authorization for ALL services done before they begin work. We signed a written agreement for work to be done with a verbal promise to add an estimate to it the next day.
