RecommendedAmazing. they went above and beyond for all three of my stays there. will never stay anywhere else when in Duluth.
It's a wonderful place to stay right in the Canal Park area. Had a great lake side room and was able to enjoy the crashing waves of Lake Superior during our stay. Sad to see most of the common areas shut down due to the covid restrictions. We will certainly plan on returning there in the future. Wonderful decor and had a very comfortable room. Great view of Lake Superior. Comfortable room furniture. When breakfast is available, not during a pandemic, they have wonderful food. Outdoor seating area with a fire pit which I still have to experience. It’s usually windy when I’m here. Close to the lift bridge!
Very nice facility. I would definitely come back again. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. BUT, was very disappointed in finding a piece of pizza and a half eaten granola bar under the dresser when we were unpacking our things. Really was grossed out by that. When I alerted the front desk, he took a note. That was it. Was not the response I was expecting. Otherwise, it was a nice weekend.
We stayed here for the first time last June and it was lovely. It’s extremely clean which is the most important thing to me. The continental breakfast is great and the location couldnt be better. My kids enjoyed the large pool area and throwing rocks at the beach. Our second visit was in December for bentlyville and we were impressed by the beautiful Christmas decorations. We just reserved a room for June again this year and can’t wait to get back.

We stayed at Canal Park Lodge last night and this is what the sheets looked like on one of the beds. When I brought it to McKenna’s attention she said “Oh, I will let housekeeping know.” No apology, no “what can we do to make it right”, nada.
Beautiful hotel and a great experience!
