Get directionsLoved the hospital, staff, & of course Dr.Calhoun. He was amazing! I traveled from Clarksburg just to have him as my Dr. highly suggest!
As a RN working in the CPICU at Memorial hospital, I don't venture over to Women and Children's often. On Wednesday, September 12, 2018 I found myself there as a Mom to a patient. It’s not the first time that has happened, but I feel there is a lot of recognition to be given. My 6 year old daughter, Briana was to have ear tubes—a relatively minor procedure that is done every day. In my mind, I knew that it was minor and not a big concern; however, I am a Mom and a nurse so there’s not really a thing as “minor surgery.” Haha!... read more
it's a little drive but in order to get the best care it's worth it. just had surgery there Monday 8/13 everyone is super nice and I had the kindest nurses. thank you
I had a DNC, biopsies and my tubes removed today by Dr. Lawrence William's. He and the surgical team was amazing. They answered all of my questions, and took food care of me. My PAC nurses were the best. Mrs. Halstead took extremely good care of me after I came out of surgery, helped me to the bathroom, and helped me put those beautiful hospital panties on. I want to extend my gratitude towards the PAC staff, surgical nurses, Dr. William's, and the anesthesiologist. Thank you for taking care of me.
Absolutely the best hospital I've been to. Everyone was super nice and patient with my daughter, they even gave her a popsicle and stickers on the way out. Great experience from start to finish.
I had my son there and they are absolutely wonderful..
I had my twin boys in March of this year, 2018, via emergency C-Section at 36 weeks. The labor and delivery staff was amazing and just fantastic. The nurses and such afterwards were great as well. However, one woman ruined this whole experience for myself, my husband, and our new babies. The boys have tight skin on their parts, yes, but she misdiagnosed them with something they DO NOT have so instead of getting the circumcision they medically need (due to their tight skin not allowing ‘growth’) at birth, we ended up having o... read more
I wouldn't take my dog here if it was dying. They wouldn't listen to anything being said tried to diagnose the situation in 5 minutes and send us out the door. When I insisted on them helping my child they just got pissy and had attitude and ran a bunch of unnecessary tests totaly unrelated to the problem. So here we are and we still have the same problem we arrived with. Don't waste your time or money.
I had my 3 year old daughter here and didn’t have any problems. My pregnancy care up to labor and delivery to my discharge was all pleasant. This time so far my pregnancy care has been fantastic but my dr put me on the induction list for Sunday evening. She said it shouldn’t be a problem getting me in and that they will call me to come in to be induced, but if they get slammed they might call me to say that it won’t be until Monday, which I understand things can get hectic. Fast forward to Sunday, I took my daughter to her g... read more
