Every nurse and doctor I had was super nice! They were always in to check on me and the nurses in NICU where my newborn son is are also wonderful! I absolutely love this hospital!

I had my son here in April of 2017. Wonderful experience! Now, he’s having what appear to be seizures. We were lucky in that we quickly got an appointment for an EEG (also a good experience). But now I’m told it’ll be 3-4 months with a follow up with CAMC’s one pediatric neurologist? What if the seizures were degenerative? That’s a long time & absolutely unacceptable. There’s no doubt that Dr. Naik is overworked. Poor guy. I’ll be looking into transferring to Cabell Huntington where they have more than one Ped Neuro on staff... read more

We were staying in the Ped unit for 3 days this past week. The nurses closed our door as my niece screamed in pain for nearly 6 hours. They rarely came in to check her IV or switch her antibiotics. It is protocol to check an infants IV every hour. It took 3 phlebotomists and 9 pokes in her arm hand and foot! And a lot of bleeding for one to finally her the poke correctly. When we decided to ask for a transfer to move her elsewhere they were very rude and basically told us that if we did that they would make it very hard on u... read more

The monitors they had placed on me for contractions was not picking up and no one came to Fix it. I was told by a triage nurse that I should not have came in, when I tried to tell her my nurse practitioner told me to come In after being examined in the office, I was told not to listen that I should have went home and that I had ... read more

Great doctors and nurses. I had both of my kids there and I love the way they help you.

Wow...I'd be afraid to have my child here! Where are the parents rights at? Eye ointment has so many negative side effects for baby and it should ultimately be up to the parent to decide, but not here at this hospital. So sad!
