They almost killed my baby and didn’t do anything to help him after unnecessarily using a vacuum on him. It fractured his skull, damaged his spinal cord, and they just let him go like that, didn’t even monitor him. Really some horrible people working at this hospital. When I took him back to their ER several days after bringing him home, I had to fight them to do a CT. They said it was just fine, no fracture, just a hematoma. Discharged us with nothing but lies.

My son had a dental procedure there yesterday morning. I can't go into detail because I would be here all day. Every part of the process was done with a friendly face and we never waited without being told exactly what was going on or would happen next. The staff at Children's Dentistry and Women and Children's went above and beyond for my little boy and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you all!

My little boy was seen at the hospital in our home town and sent home. He didn’t get better, he got worse. We came to CAMC Women and Children’s and we got answers! The RIGHT answers! I’m very thankful we decided to bring him here. All of the staff, nurses, and doctors are so nice and genuinely care. It also doesn’t take hours upon hours to be seen. Thank you very very much! My little man is feeling better!

This is the worst hospital in the Charleston area. Went in because I knew I had a kidney infection (I'm pregnant too). Told them about it and app they done was a urine sample. Which showed a UTI. Told me the pain I was having was muscle pain. Well few hours later I go to Thomas because I was getting worse. I was now running a fever, chilling, puking, and was in severe pain. I was diagnosed with a kidney infection that got in my bloodstream causing EColi to build. So Women's and Children's just about killed me. Had I listened... read more

My daughter was seen in the er for vomiting blood and sever stomach pain. They sent her home with no relief and really no explanation other than possible ulcer to follow up in a few days with a pediatric gastroenterologist. The referral wasn’t sent and I called the emergency department 3 times. They were rude along with WVU Pediatrics being rude about not having a referral. I should have went with my first instinct to take her to Cabell Huntington. This place is a joke. Not only that but rude. The nurse we had when we first ... read more
