More and better doctors in the emergency room.Not having heart patients wait for hours in the emergency room. Hire a less morbidly obese staff. Have emergency room doctors that can sew up a an accident wound without leaving a horrible scar like the D.O. left on me.
It sure is t what it used to be. Living (hopefully) for the day we can ditch PEIA and go out of state for care.

the ER nurse was horrible , ripped his IV out of his arm by her foot. through stuff at him because she was fighting with her bf that works with her . my husband was admitted to 5 west , omg staff is horrible the care he recieved was horrible the place was filthy , he was never taken care of and only 1 sponge bath in 3 days that i gave him . this place will kill you
Worst nurse services I have ever seen, took them 4 hours to change my gf's dressings even though she had been sitting in her own blood for all 4 of those hours.. gave her Serequel at 10 am when that's a night time medicine .. To beat all that we had been here for 3 days (still here by the way) and have only seen an actual doctor once and that was for a total of maybe 5 mins and he at that point acted like he had no freaking clue what was going on... so in my opinion, go to a street doc with a dirty knife and you will get tre... read more
Worst experience of my life.
These nurses on 5W are absolutely wonderful! They are so caring and helpful, have taken great care of mom. Their teamwork is exceptional! So grateful that God gave such a great team to Mom!!

0 stars I am actually in the hospital with a family member now. This has been the worst hospital experience I have ever encountered. We were told to be here at 11 am for a 1:30 surgery and did not go into surgery until 5:15 pm. No one at anytime updated us of the delay even when we asked. The hospital “ran out” of the epidural spinal which was the preferred and recommended anesthesia for his procedure! He has been out of recovery and in his room for 2.5 hours and no nurse has seen him. Even after we have requested it. I woul... read more
