The ER wait is unacceptable. 6 hours waiting on a bed upstairs. This is not new to this hospital. 7th admission over several years and this is normal operating procedure. Very, very inefficient. one would think after so many years of providing below par service that the problem would have been identified and corrected
RecommendedI had to have gallbladder surgery on Thursday evening after being admitted through the ER the day before. All of the staff on 5 West were fantastic! Mary Beth and Rachel were my RN's and they were the best! My phone messed up somehow and when I started panicking, Rachel was sweet enough to find a way to fix it for me even though I knew she was already extremely busy. I was so sick before my surgery, and I felt so taken care of. Thank you guys for making it the best experience one can have in that situation 🙏💜

A person should not have to wait in the ER for hours. The new ER was supposed to be so much better well that was a lie. The last two experiences in the ER were complete fails. The excuse they always give on any day of the week is that it is always busy on this day or always busy after a holiday. Whatever, you use that excuse all the time. The ER staff need to answer the phone when another facility is trying to reach them to let them know a patient is on there way and what is going on.
