Beginning to wonder? Sat in Er for 6 hours with my husband thinking he was having another heartattack. The wait was totally unacceptable seeing as how he just had stints put in his heart not even a month ago. I could go on but i wont he was admitted finally at 730 in the evening and i am paying today myself for the uncomfortable wait as i am disabled and in chronic pain
I waited in the ER from 1:00 am to 5:30 am on 6/13/17 with severe stomach pain, in tears, nausea, symptoms of appendicitis. I finally asked the intake nurse how long it would be at 530am, she said there are 6 ahead of you, I told her I couldn't wait that long. She said...I can't give you pain medication, first off..do not assume that everyone is there for pain pills..that infuriated me because people that actually need help suffer. This place sucks ass the emergency department is a joke they take you back You have to wait 45 damn minutes to get treated all they care about is MONEY MONEY
Shortage of staff to care for patients. Great doctors leaving state. 5 hours in surgery recovery after she was ready to be moved to a room. Rooms are not the issue not enough nurses or housekeeping to clean rooms. CAMC needs competition. Can't rest on past standings or accomplishments. Great doctors mean more than buildings
We were treated very good ever thing was clean and staff were very helpfull
