I have always received excellent service, quality and courtesy by an exceptional and knowledgeable staff. All repairs are a great value compared to anyone else in this area and have a guarantee that you can depend on. Family owned and operated Camarillo Independent is and has been the best repair facility I've ever had the pleasure of going to. .
Thank You Camarillo Independent Honda, Acura & Toyota – I want to compliment Camarillo Independent Automotive service for the excellent job they did on my Toyota 4-Runner. They located the problem and repaired it for less than what the dealer would have charged. I am very pleased with their work. This is the fourth time I have taken a vehicle to them for repair and the fourth time I have been very pleased. They do professional work at a good price. Beleive these negative reviews folks... – Because I had to, I have this business one star. If given a choice I'd give this business NO STARS at all. These people are dishonest and extremely mean. There's really something very wrong going on over there. I wouldn't trust them with my law mower, much less my vehicle (again). They serviced my vehicle, charging me for services they never performed and then when I called them on it, they screamed at me. Buyer beware... – As our 2002 Honda Accord fell out of warranty, we decided to use a local service repair shop recommended by the American Automobile Association (AAA) of Southern California. We decided to use Camarillo Independent Honda, Acura & Toyota Specialist at 1955 E. Daily Dr., Camarillo, CA 93010. We had the car serviced there about every 6 month over a period from March 2007 until October 2009. This company is bad news! – I will never take my car to Camarillo Independent ever again. I had a major service performed. They never checked my tire pressure and two tires were at less then half the recommended PSI. They always recommend unneeded services and when I question their integrity they yell at me and tell me I don't know what I am talking about. I highly do not recommend them.
Electrical Fire – I had a battery changed on my VW van and within 10 miles of driving, I had an electrical fire!!. I had noticed that the clock and radio were inoperative after I had left Camarillo Independent (worked on the way in), and was driving back there to get them to fix them when the electrical fire erupted. Of course they claim they did nothing to cause it, but I now (20 hours later) have evidence which will be presented to my insurance company for the trial.
bad experience – took my car for a maintenance. when i got home found a hose clamp on the driveway- and after a day of driving the check engine light came on - took my car to my dealership and found out that they did not connect the air filter hose to the air filter case. when i called them about the situation that their mechanics did not do what they are suppose to do and the manager said that they are only human and made a mistake. bad experience, got fleeced – They did not give me an estimate sheet. They purposely used the wrong refrigerant and fleeced me by charging a ridiculously inflated price for the wrong stuff. You would do better than to trust these people.
