Great service, turnaround time was better then estimated. Requested a duplicate key with an embedded chip, a service that Camarillo Independent provides instead of going to the dealer. They furnished the additional key and recoded both the new and old key within a couple hours -- less time than they estimated it would take.

I realize you can't please everyone and having said that & having gone to a Honda dealer for service mostly because being female, I didn't want to get ripped off, I decided to try Camarillo Independent. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised how professional and honest they were from the receptionist to the mechanic. Also comparing the prices for maintenance between the dealership and Camarillo Independent was significantly less using all the same Honda parts. I have taken my car to Camarillo Independent for various issues, mainly engine light, and I've always had a great experience at this shop. Cars are computers on wheels now a days and according to my husband, engines run hotter these days by design. With all of the crazy sensors and electronics, these guys have it together in fixing it right. I've never had a bad experience there. I went in Friday 8:00an in the morning for a smog. Bret told me it would be done before I I had to be at work at 9:00am the car was done at 8:30 I made it to work with plenty of time. Thank you very much always had great service.

I had a terrible experience with this shop. They promised me my car back by Friday afternoon but did not deliver. They kept delaying the completion date/time but never gave me the courtesy of a call to give me an update on their progress. I always had to call them after they failed to make their stated completion time. When I did have to call, I didn’t appreciate the tone of voice that I was given.
