This was my second visit to Camarillo Independant Repair. Upon entering, I was greeted by one of the workers, an older gentleman who was very welcoming. I came in to have my car smogged. However, the last time I came, I had to set an appointment over a two day span. When I tried to inquire about the appointment, the guy says to me, "I can fit you in and get it done for you in 15 minutes." and I thought to myself, "oh heak yeah!" I went to Camarillo Independent after comparing prices with 4 other shops to fix my teenage daughter's car which is pretty old, an 88 Camry. All 4 struts/shocks were worn out and needed to be replaced. I knew it was going to be expensive. Being a single dad with a small budget to work with, I took a chance of going with the lowest-priced shop. We have used this place on and off for years. Just had our '03 Highlanders check engine light on, the dealer wanted almost a grand. A bad oxygen sensor was to blame. I decided today to see how much Camarillo Independant would be. How about $388 after my AAA discount.and that included a smog check. I'm no genius, but that seems like a pretty big savings. I have a big family and I will tell them about this place. They run a 5 stars family owned and operated business. AAA discounts and mention Yelp for a 10% off labor

Great service, very friendly and comfortable waiting area. Maria was greeting customers by name and seemed to be very in touch with their needs. I had a smog check done but as I will be needing work done on my vehicle, I'll be giving this shop a try!

I am from out-of-town--- not comfortable going to auto repair for serious unknown brake problem. Back home I have ha, top mechanic for decades. A retired physician, near where I am staying, said, with my Lexus, a family owns a shop 30 minutes away that specializes in Toyota and Honda line--- that they have been there more than 30 years. I have been taking my vehicle to Camarillo for 15 yrs always honest service & great staff. I continue to take my vehicles to Camarillo independent.
