It seems mostly people with bad experiences post reviews on this place. I don't know if I've been getting lucky for the past 20 years of excellent service from Cam. Independent, or if people like me are just too busy to post reviews (probably the latter). I've been using them since before they moved out of their tiny shop under the freeway. I recently had major repair work done on my older model Camry. I had a head gasket replaced, along with other smaller miscellaneous service work. Holly and John's attitude, help, work and empathy were all appreciated. The cost was reasonable. I found this business through a friend's referral. Now, just a month later....I'm even more pleased. No issues. My car has never run better! At last I've found a local car repair place with reasonable rates, great people and great service. Keep up the good work!

Took my old Honda in for a smog check on my lunch break. I had been dreading the smog check & expecting to soend a chuck of my day waiting & then having to make up lost work time. I was back at work about an hour after leaving my desk!! Fantastic & friendly service. Fair prices. I will be using them in the future for regular maintenance.

I brought my 2000 Accord in for a timing belt and water pump as a preventative maintenance due to the age of the car, not mileage. I also thought I wanted to do a couple more things, but the owner told me "I could do it for you; but honestly, I can count on one hand the number of times I have had to replace what you are asking for. I've done business with Camarillo Independent for at least 10 years. I've always been very happy with the work they've done and their integrity in taking care of first, my Integra, and now my Honda. Thank you Camarillo Independent for always going the "extra mile".

Always good service. We've been taking our cars to Camarillo Independent for years, and never unhappy with the service. As I have a high mileage luxury car, I depend on them even more for preventative maintenance. Prices IMO are very fair. The only thing lacking is coffee for waiting customers.
