Terrible quality, even worse stance Callaway take on the craftsmanship of their iron. 14 month old apex pro irons inserts falling off. In order to get them fixed you have to send your irons back. Takes 4-6 weeks to get them back. For an avid golfer that's way too long. They are quick to say, it is only cosmetic and does not change the performance of their clubs. But why pay $1,100 for a new set when they are made cheep? Might as well always buy used...no advantage to buying new.

I am playing with and love the New XR Irons. I have added so much distance to my clubs I am re figuring out my approach shots to the green, I guess its a good problem to have. I have hit so many green in regulation, exciting! Thanks Callaway!
Started with a cheap set of top flight irons with a Taylormade drive last year. This year I wanted something different and more note worthy. So I got some Big Bertha Irons, an Odyssey Putter, and an X2 Hot Driver for this year...I will never change companies again. These clubs found a piece of my heart and I will stick with Callaway for years to come.
Got to hit the PM grind next to my Vokey SM4, and I've been waiting to get one in my bag ever since. As a club fitter, I love the ability to hit an almost unreal amount of shots with all kinds of spin control. I love having to extended toe on the face as well as the extended grooves. For a single digit handicap, I think you'd love what this club could do for your short game, with the necessary practice.
