Dr Callahan was brusque to start. When she asked me a question about symptoms I answered as best I understood. She repeated the question several times and was obviously angry. She was rude, hostile, and I was intimidated and made to feel stupid because I did not understand what she wanted. This was a really unpleasant experience and other comments indicate they also had similar experiences
I found the experience to be professional and courteous.. She performed cataract surgery on both eyes. This Doc knows what she is doing. Would recommend her to a friend. Note: they do take appointments seriously
I requested an appointment with Dr. Callahan because I was experiencing a exacerbation of eye symptoms I had seen the Doctor about in March of this year. The Doctor had prescribed eye drops which were very effective. I called the pharmacy to get a refill. I did not have any refills remaining. I was told by the Doctor’s office I needed an appointment, which I did. I arrived 19 minutes late due to the fact I misjudged how long the drive to the office was. She is an angry at the world person. She looks to insult her patients and I got permanent lens implants but was so wounded by her berating me never went back for follow up - she is mental Needs help - if she is so intelligent - why would she hate her patients and lure them into altercations
Terrible visit. Dr. Claiborne was very rude and used her knowledge to make me feel like an idiot and expected me to come and give her all the issues. I will never go there again. Very unapproachable and looking to berate the patient. Below are a couple of examples. 1. She inquired about my previous eye doctor and I mispronounced Optometrist and she went to correct in a bad manner right away by saying " Do you mean Optometrist?" Dr. Callahan was very professional, knowldegeable, and helpful. Unlike some other doctors' offices I've been to in the past, she listened to me and took the time to explain things clearly and to answer my questions. It was refreshing. I aslo made an appointment for my son, and she helped him too. The staff was also very friendly and nice.

Disorganized and unprofessional. Dr Callahan gave me a pair of trial lenses I tried for a week but they weren't quite right. So she gave me a second pair of trial lens for a week that worked great. But then the prescription sheet she gave me was for the first pair! I didn't notice until I went to buy lenses online.
