I felt the exam was very comprehensive and that my best interests were at heart. Dr. is very experienced and is thorough in her explanation of your particular situation.
While Dr. Callahan is qualified her staff can’t even get an appointment in the computer. I have prisms in my lenses and I was told I didn’t. She laughed and said I see it in your records. They didn’t see that one was in the wrong direction and they were left out of my reading glasses! She sent me toa specialist and I was told to come back for a follow up exam and she would do my refraction for my new lenses but on the visit which wasn’t in the computer but I had a card, she did a brief cursory exam and I was left hanging. Dr. Callahan is knowledgeable and professional. She takes my concerns seriously, and is very kind.
Dr Callahan and her staff are very professional. I find Dr Callahan to be attentive to my questions and very helpful with her answers. I highly recommend her, she did my cataract surgery and follow up appointments. Definitely a great doctor and an expert in her field.
At first she was all business, which was OK, but I need compassion and understanding and a good bedside manner with my medical providers. I must have caught her on a bad day, because from the first cataract surgery on, she has been great! Very supportive, a good listener, answered my questions in a kind manner. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist.
Best eye Dr I have had. Accurate and honest assessment
We were both seen in an extremely reasonable time frame, and she and her staff made sure they understood our needs and answered every question with out making us feel rushed.
Listened carefully to symptoms, did exacting exam. Even though I am a retired physician, she carefully explained what she was prescribing, how to use it, and other therapies to use.
