This is my first order with this horrible company and my last order. I bought a product at California pet Pharmacy. First order. They did not tell me they were taking out an authorization charge which was deducted from my bank account in addition to the payment. Both same amounts. My chocolate lab recently just started suffering from seizures. The medicine was quite expensive, directly from my veterinarian. I was so happy to from CPP. The medicine is nearly 1/2 what I paid for at my vet. I was pleasantly surprised with the fast communication from the company and super fast shipment of the meds. I’m so happy I found CPP and will be using this company again.

My experience with California Pet Pharmacy (CPP) customer service was not only poor but also insulting. I ordered a tiny bottle of medication for my cat costing over $100. The color of this clear fluid medicine started turning milky when I still had about 20% of the bottle left. I called CPP and voiced my concern about the milky color. My husband and I have used California Pet Pharmacy for a few years now and have never been dissatisfied with the prices or shipping process of this company. In fact, we bought a year's worth of flea medication recently for our dog because it was a great deal; however, our dog unexpectedly passed away before we could use the first month of what we ordered. I just read the reviews on this place, should have read then before I ordered. I had the same problem. Except they didn't even answer the phone. Took then a month to send the PAIN med. I see that someone here sent a complaint and left the website. I'll gladly take the time to send a complaint. To BBB, as well. For my dog, myself and everyone else and their dog who ordered from this lousy person. Because I'm convinced that this is NOT a company, it's someone working out of a garage.

Spend your money elsewhere! Their customer service is horrible at best. For over a month they have been contacting the wrong veterinarian to get approval for Heartguard that I purchased from them. They have literally contacted the wrong veterinarian after I got off the phone with them giving them the correct Vets contact information multiple times. I have been told they faxed approval requests to my Vet when they haven't, been disconnected while on hold with customer service multiple times, have had emails go unanswered ... read more

Horrible experience. Ordered online with priority shipping. When I hadn't received in the 2-3 days they said it would take I called. Was told they had faxed the Vets office but hadn't received the RX back and that they had called and was told by the Vets office they were waiting on the Vets approval - both lies (the Vets office had documentation of the faxes and notes in the chart re: the RX). I placed an order online. They sent the fax for authorization to my dogs vet. The vet sent it back same day. Order status was pending for days, when I called, was told that by the customer service representative that he would figure out what was wrong and call me the next day. He did not call, so I called, got a different representative who told me the same story. He did call back, med was out of stock.
