Cafe Rio is not open on Sundays so you can't enjoy it during the weekend when you have time to wait in line. :( Even trying to call and get take out is impossible. Always a busy single! Then once you finally get through and ask when your order will be ready to pick-up they tell you "in 2 hours." By that time I have eaten my young! Oh and get this. Once you finally do pick-up your take out you have to wiat again while the cashier pulls everything out of the bag, marks it off on the order sheet and has you sign your name. What... read more

Bad! Bad! Bad! – I've been around many places and I've got to say that this Place is really bad. I am always amazed at what can pass for mexican food here in Utah. The food is about as traditional as Taco Bell, Worst of all the prices are far to expensive. The only positive is that they make their tortillas by hand. For all the hoopla that tis place get your better off going to a hospital to get food with flavor and I dont mean hot spices. Although that might help!

Great Teen Hang Out – I love this place the food is great, our whole track team likes to go there after meets because it's fast and it tastes great!

Felt like a sardine in a can! – I waited in line nearly 35 minutes. After getting my food, I then had to wait for a place to sit. The place is cramped! I once thought of this restaurant as being original, but too many similar restaurants are starting to spring up under different names.

Not worth the wait! – I agree that the food here was good. But you could get it at any mexican restaurant in the Salt Lake Valley! It was not worth the hour wait...especially because you have to stand in line the whole time! Just like all the other fads, Cafe Rio will soon fade out.

YUMMY – Great food...but always an extremely long line. Not the place to go if you're trying to eat somewhere quick during a lunch break. Great value for the amount of food you get.

Best in Utah – I really think it is a fun place to eat. The food is inexpensive and the service is quick. The food is by far the best tex mex food you could find in Utah.

Superb! – The food here is tasty, generous, and affordable. The wait isn't too long, and shared with a friend it is tolerable.
