Delicious! – I LOVE Cafe Rio's shredded pork salads. They are reason enough to endure the other things that are not so great about Cafe Rio. For starters, they are always insanely busy. The best way to enjoy the food is to call ahead and order take-out. If you do decide to brave the long line, be prepared. When you get up to the area where you order, the staff really try to rush you through, and sometimes are difficult to understand well. Muy delicioso!!! Very Delicious!!! – Cafe Rio is the best restaurant ever! I atually crave their food, really! I use to live in Utah and now everyday I wish there was a Cafe Rio in Chicago! The first restaurant I'm going to go to when I get back to Utah is Cafe Rio! They have something for everyone, everything there is good! Best salads, YES, salads anywhere! – Once you have a taste of the best mexican around, no matter what you order, you'll be hooked. This place is amazing!
Great Food, On busy nights or wekends call your order in. – Great food, a little ridiculous pricing on sides of dressing, but other than that not much negative to say/
Consistently Good – When I want a burrito, I go to Cafe' Rio and order the shredded beef burrito enchilada style (black beans, hot sauce please!). The food is consistently good even if there is a wait. I've started ordering "to go" so I can waltz in and grab my burrito and go back to work without waiting in the line... I know people get irritated by waiting but I'd much rather wait for good food than go somwhere that's empty and have bad food.
Best fast food in the world! – I absolutley love the food at Cafe Rio. I am hooked on the stake fajita salads with extra pico. Everything is so fresh and tastes great at a great price. I have never been disapointed in the the many times I have eaten there. The long wait is definately worth it. I now live half way around the world, but when I come home to SLC this summer, Cafe Rio is going to be the first place I eat out at. Yum yum! I can't wait.
Cafe Rio or Cafe Gringo – Though the food is edible, it is light fare. If you want spicy, this is not the place for you. The food is very Americanized. Too much salad and not enough traditional fare.
