Che bueno! – This review is for the Cafe Rio at Fort Union in Salt Lake City, UT. Try the smothered pork barbacoa burrito-enchilada style. It has some fabulous green sauce on it. The lines are usually really long during lunch time and between 6:30PM to 7:30PM so be prepared to stand for a while. Great food and hearty portions at a low price. I also like that they make the tortillas fresh.

yummmmmm me! – Cafe Rio's burritos are big enough for two people to share for around $6.00. You can't beat the price for the value. I actually crave the taste of their shredded beef, pinto bean, rice, and tomatillo sauce, smothered burritos. YUMMMMMMMY!

Not as good as meets the eye. – I love the food at cafe rio. It was one of my favorite places to eat. However, I do not like waiting in line over half an hour to an hour for a burrito. I understand that thier will be crowds of people there, but isn't there some way to speed the process up. Everybody knows they're making tons of money. They would have to be since they charge almost $8 for beans, rice, cheese, and some meat.

AWESOME FOOD – I think this is the best Mexican food I have EVER tasted (next to my Mom's of course). Now that I live in Seattle, I can't help but compare every Mexican restaurant I visit to Cafe Rio. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is great--a bit loud, but it helps maintain your anonymity and fosters a casual atmosphere. Business people can find a great inexpensive company lunch here. Bring a friend or two and come hungry, because the plates are huge and you won't want to stop until it's gone.

Cafe Rio...The best there is. – I have spent the last 3 years trying to find a better Mexican restaurant than Cafe Rio. It's not happening. Don't be intimidated by the long lines. It's worth the wait.

Best Mexican in Utah – I think this is the best mexican food in utah (minus the actual mexican taco stands!) They've got awesome porportions and it tastes great, especially if you like cilantro!
