BEST EVER FOOD! This place is always packed with people because it is so good. The half hour to hour wait is soooo worth it. They have the best burritos and salads anywhere. It is so simple, but it is so good too. They give you a ton of food too.
The best restaurant ever! This is my absolutle favorite restaurant to eat at. They make fresh tortillas right in front of you and are always packed. The best item in my opinion is the Pork salad. I dont not like meat but I will eat there pork anyday. Its actually the most popular menu item is anything with pork in it. They are fairly cheap as well. PROS: Fresh food, Great people, reasonable prices, great food CONS: too packed some times,
Cafe Rio Best Tex-Mex restaurant that I have ever been too. Way better than Chevy's. Great tasting food and a reasonable price. The owners obviosly know how to run a successful busines.. PROS: Very good food. CONS: The line to get food can take up to 45 minutes to an hour.

Its really apparent that the employees are trained to push for that extra dollar. Well after telling them no they went to the next possible dollar and ... read more
Love it! Been here several times and have never had a bad experience. I am always impressed how clean the restaurant is and the service of the employees.

awful, plasticy food i never even bothered to go in since the line was always too long every time i went. but my cousin had them cater at her wedding. it was terrible- dry and flavorless. by the way my husband IS mexican and he hates it worse than i do.
Ok, but not authentic Cafe Rio enjoys an unparalleled praise from the residents of Utah--which is probably well earned--but is far from being authentic Mexican food. The ingredients and their combination have been adapted to more local tastes and if you go there you have to be expecting it or you will be sorely disappointed. I highly recommend it to those who like americanized mexican food (ie. flour tortillas, hard shells, mass-produced, enormous servings, mild flavours), but if you are looking for real Mexican you are bett... read more
