Incredibly authentic food! – Cafe Iberico is one of the ONLY authentic Spanish restaurants in the Midwest! My husband is from Madrid and we both have tried numerous locations claiming to be "Spanish". All have fallen short except for Cafe Iberico. We continue to be completely impressed every time we go. It's a little taste of Espana! Be sure to try the calamari, salmon and garlic shrimp!
The place for tapas – This is THE place for tapas in Chicago. Take your time and sample as many as you can stand. The sangria is prett good too. A great place for a group of friends, but also a good date spot.
Great food, Great Value – I think this is a Chicago staple. I love this place! Great food, fun environment, and a great value!
Cafe Iberico – I've been here a few times. Sangrias are great. Food can be inconsistent. Paella isn't that great in my opinion. Can get crowded on the weekends, but more mellow on weekdays. Good place to go with a few people or a group of people.
best tapas in chicago!!! – great food, sangria and service. the most authentic tapas experience in town. desserts and wine list also big winners! great place for a first date -- and countless thereafter...
Take your friends, family or co-workers to this lively, crowded tapas restaurant. – The Scene Seems like every restaurant in town is doing "small plates" these days; credit should go to this tapas hangout, whose zesty menu and atmosphere make conventional dining seem absolutely ho-hum. Sangria flows like water, bodies pack the bar, and voices rise to be heard in the convivial 400-seat restaurant, which has the comfortable, open feel of a Spanish villa. Crowds of Euro-folk line out the door on weekends, but servers stay pleas... read more
tapas? yeah ok! – this place was the best place to go if you like to wait over three hours long to get seated, wouldn't mind the wait if the food was good, but it wasn't. it was extremely crowded and the food was not as authentic as i thought it would be. the sangria tasted more like sour grapes!
Dream – Close your ears to the English spoken around you and you'll think you're in Spain. Marvelous atmosphere and decor. Fantastic sangria! Good sized portion
a LIITLE DISAPOINTING – I really looked forward to eating here, but have to be honest..I've had better tapas in Chicago. The wait staff was a little clueless and the food OK- we had veal, which was VERY TOUGH! But the Sangeria was good.
