I've been to your restaurant great food and service my sister lives in the neighborhood. Sorry about kitchen nightmare it's staged and inaccurate
After watching the Kitchen nightmares episode of Cafe hon and being in Baltimore, I decided to check out Cafe hon to see what's the hype is about. The host was very outgoing, despite the slightly slow service from my waitress. Which the waitresses service was fair. The hampden burger was great. It came right out of the oven, served fresh with decent flavor in every bite, which was a great improvement that Chef Ramsay imposed in that cafe. The gift shop was great too with all their variety. Really a fun, fun place and great food. Cream of crab soup was way yummy. Burgers were excellent as was the salad. Great value.

There were 8 of us and we all got something different. We all loved our food. And the service was excellent. Everyone kind, efficient and friendly. Definitely a place to go back to if we're in the area.

The tatertots with cheese and bacon are awesome had two bowls before my meal also recommend the crab cake and shrimp salad club!
Besides the hour wait for a hamburger and a pulled pork sandwich, it was good and I can say I’ve been there.

The Reuben sandwich I had was excellent but it took over 25 minutes to get it served after I ordered it. My husband’s Hamburger also was very good. Kitchen very slow. The place was not crowded when we came in. We were the only people getting served. Another patron came in, had a glass of wine and then ordered a shrimp salad sandwich. It was over 25 minutes after she ordered it when she told them to wrap it up, she had to leave. The place still was not busy. No excuse for that. I can't believe I've never posted a review...my husband and I are at Cafe Hon (well, Hon Bar technically) at least once if not more often every week. Best Cream of Crab Soup, amazing Buffalo Wings, and the Hon Salad is perfection! Thank you :)
